Once a year we welcome all of you to our monthly Board of Directors meeting, where we announce which Board positions are coming open for a two-year term beginning in June. April 19, you’re invited to listen in on the discussion, ask questions, and test whether you might like to join the Board. So if you’d like to apply for a Director or Chair position—or expand your involvement with AIGA Seattle in any way—bring that passion and your ideas to this meeting! SEE JOB DESCRIPTIONS

It's your chance to help steer AIGA and the profession in an enriching and empowering direction:

  • It’s good for AIGA—We need your talent and fresh ideas to move us forward.
  • It’s good for you—You’ll build your connections, expand your leadership skills, and feel the satisfaction that you’re making a positive difference in the creative community.
  • It’s good for the design industry—With the combined strength of more than 22,000 members across every state, AIGA has been giving our profession a voice on the national stage for more than 100 years.

Committee Chair opportunities

If you’d like to chair an event or lead an initiative, but don’t feel you can commit to a Director position, consider taking on a one-year Chair position, available under each Director. Chairs are critical member volunteers who drive uniquely valuable programs and events that expand our positive imapct in the greater Seattle design, creative, and business communities.
