About AIGA / The Seattle Chapter Board

Stefan Udziela
Membership Director

Stefan, a native of Oregon, has lived and worked in Seattle since 1996. He has over seven years of experience as a designer, focused on print and identity design. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornish College of the Arts in 2000, where he received his BFA in Design. After graduation, he worked as the in-house designer at Cornish's Publications office and taught a course in Typography in the Design Department.

After Cornish, he worked extensively as a freelance designer for Experience Music Project and the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame. His other clients include the William Traver Gallery, Vetri International Glass, and Capitol Hill Arts Center.

Currently, Stefan is a designer at POP, working on print, identity and interactive projects for clients as diverse as ArtsFund, Microsoft, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Seattle International Film Festival. He has been an AIGA member since 2002; recently, he has been a reviewer at Reality Check since 2005, and also contributed print design to the Currents9 and Into the Woods conferences. Stefan has real passion for his career, and he sees design as a powerful force for change in the world. Through the AIGA, he hopes to educate, inspire, and help evolve the design community in Seattle.
