Scott Scheff
Membership Director
Scott Scheff is a designer whose involvement with AIGA began in 1997 as a student member with Cincinnati's AIGA chapter. After earning a BFA at Miami University, Scott returned to his hometown of Chicago and began volunteering with the local AIGA chapter. Working alongside the communication chair, Scott's primary responsibility was to keep the chapter website up-to-date with the latest event information. Since moving to Seattle in the fall of 2002, Scott picked up right where he left off by getting involved our local chapter. "Volunteering is how I like to appreciate and give back to the community which inspires me." Over the past two years Scott has served on the Board as Secretary. His major accomplishments include writing minutes at monthly board meetings and organizing Design Chat events. Often you will see him actively listening, taking notes, and asking questions during events. Scott is excited about participating as a board member and contributing to Seattle's design community. He hopes to bring a unique perspective by drawing upon his past experiences.
