About AIGA / The Seattle Chapter Board

Renee Jaffee
Community Outreach Director

Renee believes that each of us, as designers and as people, have the power to really affect others. She looks forward to serving as the Community Outreach Director to help each member of AIGA Seattle, and the chapter as a whole, contribute to the world around us.

Although new to the AIGA Seattle board, Renee is no stranger to AIGA. Before moving to the Puget Sound area in 2004, Renee lived in San Diego were she was active in AIGA San Diego and served as the Community Outreach Chair, Program and Events Chair, Advocacy Campaign Chair, "Get Out the Vote" Chair, and sat on the Y Conference Planning Committee. While Renee was receiving her BFA in Graphic Design at Washington University in St. Louis she helped to establish the AIGA Student Group there.

Renee is currently freelancing, and has experience working for small design firms, in-house at large corporations, and everything in between. Her clients range from non-profits, such as Volunteers for America, to the international corporate giant, LEGO.
