American Type Design is a history waiting to be assembled. Very few people know much about it, and what is known is relatively scattered. So what’s the big picture like? Now in its second year, Type Americana is a gathering of historians, and designers. It’s also one of the few conferences to focus exclusively on American Type Design history.
